// For specialty manufacturers
AI for manufacturing companies, tested at the order desk first.
For owner-led and family-owned specialty manufacturers, job shops and make-to-order plants. The first job is customer POs entered as orders, with revision, price and requested date checked the way your desk checks them. A free AI proof of concept tests it on copies of POs you already entered, and your ERP stays untouched.

Customer POs into your ERP
Emailed, PDF and spreadsheet POs drafted as orders, with the part, revision, price and requested date checked against the quote.

Repeat and catalog parts priced from your own quote history. New parts go to your estimator as a one-page summary, not a guess.

Order entry is mostly checking
Every manufacturer that sells to other companies gets customer POs, and someone on your desk has already entered each one. Those orders are the answer key. Your reviewer, whoever on your staff knows order entry best, can hold every AI draft up against the order actually entered, field by field.
In a make-to-order plant, typing the order is the easy part. The work is the checking: is this the revision we quoted, the price on the quote or the blanket, a date the shop can make? If you are ISO 9001 registered, that check already has a name. Clause 8.2.3, review of requirements, says differences between the order and the quote get resolved before you commit to supply. The proof of concept tests whether AI can run that check the way your desk does.
It is also where mistakes get expensive. A PO entered at the wrong revision gets built to the wrong drawing. A missed certificate of conformance can get a shipment turned away at the customer's receiving dock. A blanket release booked as a new order throws off what the shop thinks it owes that customer. Each is concrete enough for a reviewer to judge.
Quotes come second. An RFQ for a new part needs an estimator to build a routing, judge setup and run time and price outside processing, which is hard to test fairly. So the RFQ test covers repeat and catalog parts only.
Every manufacturing page carries the same limit: defense, aerospace and ITAR-controlled work stays out of the test. If your shop does both, we start on the commercial side.

Test, decide, then run it live
- Step 01
One job, on past POs
Once the NDA is signed, pick 20 to 30 customer POs your desk has already entered and send copies, with the quotes behind them. Your ERP stays untouched. If the POs have to stay on site, we make look-alikes together.
- Step 02
Your reviewer makes the call
Before anything starts, the owner chooses your reviewer, and together we write down the success criteria and a price range for the live job. Your reviewer then scores every draft against what your desk actually did.
- Step 03
Live for about 30 days
After a yes, live POs go through the same checks for about 30 days, and a person on your desk approves each order before your ERP sees it.
Each job has its own price: a range on the first call, a fixed price once the proof of concept is done and before you sign.
The range depends on how many customer POs come in a month and how many are releases against blankets, so we ask both on the call.
// Questions
Questions manufacturers ask
We're a job shop and most of our work is one-off. Does this still apply?
We do some defense work. Can we still take part?
Does it matter whether we run Epicor, JobBOSS², Global Shop or something homegrown?
Can it read a PO that says "per drawing" or points to a spec sheet?
Will this schedule our shop floor?
