// How a proof of concept runs

Three steps, in this order

Same steps
for every company type
  1. Step 01

One job, on your old documents

You pick one job and send copies of 20 to 30 documents your team already processed, after the NDA is signed. Nothing connects to your systems. If documents can't leave the building, we build look-alikes with you. Some of our messages call this step the sandbox.

  2. Step 02

    Your reviewer decides

Before it starts, the owner names your reviewer: the person on your team who knows this work best. We agree the success criteria, and you get a price range for the live job. Your reviewer then puts our drafts side by side with what your team actually did on the same documents, and their call decides it.

  3. Step 03

About 30 days live after a yes

The same job runs live in your systems for about 30 days, and a person on your team approves each item before it posts anywhere. Then the next job, one at a time, each priced on its own.

Priced per job. You get a range before the proof of concept and a fixed price before you sign.

The range comes on the call, once we know the job and how many of those documents arrive each month. The fixed price comes after the proof of concept, inside that range. Monthly support follows once the job is live.

// Questions

Before you book

Do you need access to our systems?
No. The proof of concept runs on copies of old documents you choose, sent after the NDA is signed. Nothing connects to your systems unless you say yes to the live run.
What if our documents can't leave the building?
We build look-alike documents with you, following your real layouts and the exceptions your team deals with, and run the proof of concept on those. Your reviewer judges the results the same way.
Who decides whether it worked?
Your reviewer: the person on your team who knows the work best, named by the owner before anything starts. They compare our drafts with what your team actually did on the same documents, against success criteria agreed up front.
What does the proof of concept cost?
Nothing. If you go ahead, the live job is priced on its own: you get a range on the first call and a fixed price before you sign, and monthly support follows once it is live.
What happens after a yes?
The same job runs live in your systems for about 30 days, and a person on your team approves each item before it posts anywhere. After that we take on the next job, one at a time, each priced on its own.
My company type isn't listed.
Book the call anyway and bring the one job you would hand off first. Rob will tell you on the call whether it suits a proof of concept on old documents.

Bring the one job you would hand off first.

30 minutes with Rob. Tell him the job and roughly how many of those documents come in each month. Please don't send documents until the NDA is signed.
