// For equipment dealers
AI for equipment dealers starts at the warranty desk.
For heavy equipment, agricultural and rental dealers. Start with one job: warranty claims drafted from your technicians' repair orders. A free AI proof of concept tries it on copies of 20 to 30 claims your desk already filed, with no login to your dealer management system or any manufacturer's portal, before you decide anything.

Warranty claims from repair orders
Claims drafted from the closed repair order and technician notes, to the manufacturer's requirements: machine and hours, failed part, labor against standard time, and the story.

Closing charges drafted from the contract and the check-in: day, week and four-week rates, meter hours, fuel and damage, checked against what your rental system billed.

Old units returned for core credit on remanufactured parts, tracked until the credit shows up.

A technician's walk-around on a trade-in or returned rental, turned into a repair quote for a person to send.

The manufacturer already graded your old claims
By the time a warranty claim is written, the repair is done and the machine is back at work. What the dealership collects for that shop time depends on the claim. The manufacturer pays what the paperwork supports, so a vague cause, or labor past the time guide with no reason given, comes off the payment.
That makes filed claims the best test material a dealership has. Each one carries two answers to check a draft against: what your warranty administrator sent, and what the manufacturer did with it. It paid in full, cut the labor, asked for more information, or rejected it.
Nothing new has to be produced for the test. The repair order, the technician's complaint, cause and correction, the hour meter reading, the fault codes and the photos are already in the file for every claim you have sent.
Most dealers carry more than one line, and each manufacturer has its own claim form, time guide and rules. So the proof of concept runs on one manufacturer's claims, picked by your reviewer.
Rental contracts are the other job that fits, and some dealers would rather start there. Car dealerships are not who this page is for. Searches for "AI for dealerships" are mostly about them; this page is for dealers of machines that run on hour meters.

// How the proof of concept runs
Three steps, on one manufacturer's claims
- Step 01
Agree the terms
The owner picks your reviewer, the person who knows your warranty work best, and you put the success criteria in writing together. You get a price range for the live job. Then the NDA is signed.
- Step 02
Test on filed claims
Copies of 20 to 30 claims come over with their repair orders, and no one logs in to anything. Inside Massmarket we call it the sandbox: a free AI proof of concept on your own claim files. Your reviewer holds each draft against what was filed and what was paid, and their call decides it.
- Step 03
Live for about 30 days
Once your reviewer says yes, the job goes live on new repair orders for about 30 days. A person at your warranty desk approves every claim before it goes to the manufacturer.
Priced per job. You get a range before the proof of concept and a fixed price before you sign.
The range comes on the call, once we know roughly how many claims you file a month and for how many manufacturers. Monthly support follows the live run; each later job is priced on its own.
