// AI for distributors
AI for wholesale distribution, tested on orders you already entered.
Start with the job your inside sales team does all day: customer POs keyed into sales orders. We test it with a free AI proof of concept, using 20 to 30 orders your team already entered and no access to your ERP. Your reviewer, the person who knows your order desk better than anyone, decides whether it passed.
- First job
- Customer POs into sales orders
- You send
- Copies of 20 to 30 entered orders, after an NDA
- ERP access
- None during the test
- Who judges
- Your reviewer, named before it starts
- Price
- A range first, fixed before you sign

Four jobs on a distributor's desk
Sales order automation
Customer POs that arrive by email, PDF or scanned fax, drafted as sales orders with your item numbers, units, ship-to and requested dates.

POs that still reach a company you bought, keyed in its old system, drafted in your order format with your item numbers beside its own.

Quote requests from contractors and plant buyers, drafted with your items and pricing for an inside salesperson to check and send.

The answer key is already in your ERP
Every order you have entered comes with its answer. Each PO in your order inbox has a sales order your team keyed from it, so a proof of concept can be checked line by line against work your people already did. Nothing new has to be collected, and nobody has to guess what right looks like.
Distribution is where that matching is hardest. Customers order from a large catalog in their own words: their own part number, a manufacturer's catalog number, or a line of description from last year's order. Turning that into your item number, at the unit you sell it in, is the skill your best inside salespeople carry in their heads.
The job sits with inside sales and customer service, not the counter. Counter and will-call business happens face to face. The backlog builds in the shared order inbox, and distributors still advertise customer service jobs whose duties include keying customer POs into the ERP.
EDI is not the target. Your biggest accounts may already send X12 850 purchase orders that load without anyone typing them. This test is for everyone else: the contractor who emails a PDF, the plant buyer with a spreadsheet, the branch customer who faxes a handwritten list.
We are not the first to work on this. Order automation software is already sold to distributors. What we offer is a test on your own orders before you buy anything.

// How it runs
One job, three steps
- Step 01
The proof of concept
After the NDA, you send copies of 20 to 30 entered POs, the sales orders they became and an export of your item list. Nothing connects to your ERP. If the originals must stay in-house, we make look-alike POs with your team.
- Step 02
Your reviewer decides
Before day one, the owner names the reviewer, we agree the success criteria in writing, and you get a price range for running it live. Your reviewer lines each draft up against the order your team keyed.
- Step 03
A live run, after a yes
Your reviewer says yes, and the same job goes live on new POs for about 30 days. A person signs off on every drafted order before your ERP sees it. The next job is a separate decision.
Each job is priced separately: a range up front, then a fixed price you see before signing.
Rob gives the range on the first call, once he knows how many POs reach the desk each month, how many already come by EDI, and how many ERPs you run.
// Questions
What distributors ask first
Does this replace our EDI?
Which ERP do we need?
Who should be our reviewer?
Can we start with quotes instead of orders?
We are owned by a private equity firm and run more than one ERP. Does that change anything?
